 How do I move music on my iPod onto a new computer, with the original computer dead? My dad secretly did a recovery run of all the content on my computer. Now the main thing I worry about is how to update my iPod. I want to just have a copy of everything on my laptop instead, but all the settings for my iPod on my desktop (the computer the iPod was originally started on) are gone. I don't want to have to do something like start over because there's over 3,000 songs on it. Could someone please help me? Well I do know that you can sync your ipod to more than one computer but if you do this then you can't transfer those songs onto the new computer, but they will stay on your ipod. Just when you connect your ipod to your computer and the message comes up to erase and sync, click on cancel. But thats the only way I know how, sorry. |
