 Anyone else annoyed about Subway upselling their sandwiches? I just thought I'd have a public rant about Subway upselling their sandwiches. They are always asking, "Would you like to add double meat or cheese for a little bit more?" I don't fall into this trap. But I do find it annoying how they put the meat onto the sandwich and then ask you. See, if they were proud of their less-than-six-grams-of-fat-we-da-bomb promotions, then why would they tempt us to add more meat and more cheese? Also I've found it annoying that it costs $11.00 to buy a six-inch meal in Sydney (Aussie Dollars), which is now twice as much as a regular quarter pounder meal at Maccers, and it even works out to be more expensive than a KFC ultimate meal, or my Strip-sub meal at Oportos? This is in the CBD stores.... I'll still eat at Subway every now and then. But with 5 McDonald's in walking distance.... Let me know what you think... An easy 10 points here... If you are so upset with Subway then why do you even go there? Sounds like eating at other places might help you avoid an ulcer from the discontent from Subway. I never felt like they were trying to tempt me with more meat and/or cheese. I felt that they were just trying to please their customer. They always ask what veggies and condiments you want also. Like I said, I feel that they just want the customer to be pleased. |
